Mission Possible Deadline
We need your help! Help PTO close the gap!
To give families more time to donate to the Mission Possible Annual Fund, we have extended the deadline to Thursday, October 2.
Our goal this year is to have all families participate and raise $90,000. As of today, we are at $69,000. If we reach our goal, Dr. Harlin will run a half-marathon (13.1 miles!) around the track of the football field and students will be invited to participate! Let's get him on the track!
Please see a short Q&A below on how Mission Possible funds are used throughout the year:
Why does the BMS PTO need $90,000?
Funds raised during the “Mission Possible” annual fund campaign provide students with technology, equipment, materials, and programs beyond what Williamson County funding can provide.
Examples of items and activities recently funded by “Mission Possible” contributions include and they are also items we want to continue to fund at BMS:
- BMS building facility needs including landscaping across the campus and interior decor to highlight student accomplishments and to make our new building feel like a home for students.
- After school tutoring program for all students - Homework Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- End of year celebrations for each grade, including the 8th grade graduation
- Materials and Equipment for our Related Arts Programs (Computer, Robotics, Media, Coding, Art, Music, Chorus, Theater Arts, 3-D Design and Printing (STEAM), Physical Education)
- Teacher and staff professional development opportunities to ensure BMS teachers have opportunities to learn the latest teaching methods and/or to continue education in an area of focus
- Teacher luncheons and appreciation events held to boost morale
I sent in a supply fee, doesn’t that count?
Mission Possible is different from the school supplies donation (See segment below).. Due to recent changes in policy, BMS is no longer permitted to collect school fees for classroom instruction. To continue providing high-quality educational materials and a well-equipped learning environment, donations are requested voluntarily in lieu of supplies being purchased by each student family.
How do I check if I donated to Mission Possible? I can’t remember…
If you’re unsure if you donated, go to Membership Toolkit > My Account > Previous orders.
I just realized I haven’t donated to Mission Impossible and would like to do so, what do I need to do?
Please go to PTOBMS.org and click on the Mission Possible tab.
What happens if I do not donate?
The 2025 – 26 PTO operating budget is accounted for in the entire $90K target amount based on past years. If we do not reach our goal, the PTO will be forced to eliminate programs that impact and enrich the students and facility.
